Jason Wee-Siang Lim was born at 12:40 in the afternoon in East Melbourne, Victoria. He was a very curious baby who grew up knowing that life was precious and not to be wasted.

Was introduced to a digital camera for the very first time. His dad was one of the first people to get a digital camera, a Konica Minolta bought from Singapore. Jason would fall in love with shooting him and his friends and creating videos for the first time.

Jason purchased his very first DSLR camera, a Canon 7D in which further deepened his love with the ability to shoot in 60 frames in Full HD. The beginning of his professional career started with the birth of his first business called Elusive Studios.

A trip that changed it all - his first time to Europe which sparked a new way to look at life and a deep sense of love for travel while backpacking. At the end of the trip he got a tattoo saying “Life is Beautiful” as a reminder to never forget this feeling.

Another trip overseas where Jason shot his first overseas projects in collaboration with Busabout, allowing him to expand his breadth of travel - including destinations in north Africa and Scandinavia. This left an everlasting taste for more while combining the two of the things he loved - travel and video.

A year in which Jason quit his job and sold everything to travel the world. Doing so allowed him to see the world in a different way - sparking ways to create videos that would help impact this world in a positive way.

Raw Realms was born—an identity that resonated deeply with his soul for the collective, serving as a constant reminder to remain authentic and fully expressive.
