Project Brief: Capture the Essence of the retreat

Location: Antalya, Turkey

Roye Gold is an icon in the Movement scene, with his studio being the very first Movement space globally. Being trusted to shoot his event was a significant moment for me, as Roye is one of my idols.

The retreat was intensive, with Roye facilitating a particular training style. It featured various beautiful settings, both indoor and outdoor, providing multiple backdrops shot at the lovely Gloria Sports Arena in Antalya, Turkey. With a focus on movement, I experimented with the pacing of clips to keep them engaging throughout the videos.

Shooting Roye’s retreat reaffirmed how much I enjoy being at these events, where people gather to learn, connect, invest in themselves and learn from the best. I have made many lifelong friends from around the world through shooting this one and look to capture more in the future.
